Iranian film ‘Simulation’ is to vie at the Ars Independent Festival in Poland.
Directed by Abed Abest, the film will compete with six other movies from around the world.
Produced by Maryam Shafiei, ‘Simulation’ is Asia’s only representative at the Polish festival.
The 85-minute drama depicts three young people who are looking for a place in their hometown to have an enjoyable time over the weekend.
While discussing over a variety of options, they finally decide on the house of an old man. In the past they had only visited him once and did not have any particular close relations with him.
The old man welcomes them, but the party leads to a tragic catastrophe for all of them. Despite beginning on a good start, the night concludes with each of them starting trouble and quarreling, concluding with a police intervention and the beginning of a tragedy.
