‘Light Sight’ gathers 5 awards in 1 month

Iranian animation ‘Light Sight’ by Moslem Tabatabaee gathers 5 international awards in the last month.

Iranian animation ‘Light Sight’ directed by Moslem Tabatabaee has gathered five awards over its international run in the last month.

The film has participated in 28 international film festivals in October 2017, winning five awards at the following events:

1- RATMA Film Festival in the UK

2- Say It In Eight Student Film Festival in the US

3- London Eye International Film Festival in the UK

4- Greenwich Village Film Festival in New York, the US

5- Cardiff International Film Festival in the UK

‘Light Sight’ is the story of a creature named M.E. who is enamored by a white light outside of its room.

The animation has one character and one setting. The character tries to escape from the room to get to the light he sees outside.

The short animation has also grabbed eight awards from August to October, 2017, at a number of international events, including the 45th Sunrise Film Festival in the US, the 4th Pink City International Film Festival in India, the 3rd Full Bloom Film Festival in the US, the 18th Moondance International Film Festival in the US, the 10th Jahirina Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 9th DTLA Film Festival in the US, the 5th Universal Film Festival in the US, and the 10th Wimbledon International Short Film Festival in the UK.
