Popular flick 'Kupal’ slated to hit silver screen in Iran

Popular Iranian movie ‘Kupal’ is slated to appear on the silver screen in Iran soon.

Directed by Kazem Molaei, the movie has received the certificate to be screened in Iranian cinemas.

‘Kupal’ narrates the story of Dr. Ahmad Kupal, a taxidermist hunter who faces a challenge just before the New Year.

“You cannot be alone in the world,” Molaei noted, giving a clue to the philosophical origin of the film, adding that, “The world is a strange place. Here, whoever shoots is the one who gets killed.”

Notable cast members of the film include Levon Haftvan, Nazanin Farahani, Pouria Rahimi-Sam, Hossein Shamsabadi, Vahan Salimzadeh and Mitra Asiaei.
