'Kupal' is slated to appear on the silver screen in Iran in the memory of late actor Levon Haftvan.
Directed by Kazem Molaei, the movie will be screened in Iranian cinemas in April.
‘Kupal’ narrates the story of Dr. Ahmad Kupal, a taxidermist hunter who faces a challenge just before the New Year.
The film has won several awards so far. It grabbed the best film award at the Around International Film Festival Amsterdam.
The flick has also received the best film award from the 5th edition of the Brasov International Film Festival in Canada.
The Iranian-Armenian thespian died on Saturday, March 10, at the age of 51, following an incident which occurred on the set of a new production he was shooting.
Haftvan was born 1966 in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.
He had appeared in Khosrow Masoumi's 'Dirty Job', which premiered at the latest edition of Fajr Film Festival held in February 2018.
