Water has once again started flowing in Zayanderud (River of Life) in Iran’s central province of Isfahan.

The floodgates of Zayanderud Dam in the east of Isfahan Province have been opened to supply the irrigation water to crops in the eastern part of Isfahan city during Autumn.

Zayanderud is the largest river in the central plateau of Iran.
