Qom

Muslims are to hold mourning ceremonies on the anniversary of the passing of Lady Fatima Masouma (SA).

Lady Fatima Masuma was the daughter of the seventh Shia Imam, Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS), and the sister of the eighth Shia Imam, Imam Ali al-Ridha (AS).

She was a noble lady who dedicated her life to Islam and Allah. Lady Fatima Masouma (SA) is buried in the Iranian city of Qom.

Due to her blessed presence and patronage, the city has grown into a holy center for Shias; a destination for thousands of Muslims from over 80 countries.

Every year hundreds of thousands of pilgrims gather in Qom from all over the world to pay homage and respect to this noble lady.
