Miracles sometimes work in astounding ways. A case in point, being olives from Rudbar city in Gilan Province, Iran.

The city is home to a great deal of olive gardens with locals making the best Zeytoon Parvarde (marinated loves) served as an appetizer in most Iranian homes. As a side note, olive oil obtained from Iranian olives is delectable.

Olive is rich in antioxidants and naturally beneficial for your health. 

On your trip to Iran make sure to pick up some olive oil and marinated olives as well as some green leaves. The brewed leaves will make good tea for the ones who suffer from hypertension.
