‘Fourth Wall’ to vie in Croatia

Iranian animation ‘Fourth Wall’ has been selected to compete at the 48th Animafest Zagerb film festival in Croatia.

A synopsis to the ten-minute animation reads “Arezoo’s dreams and wishes are limited to a small kitchen where a little stammering boy is playing”.

The animation is written and directed by Mahboubeh Kalaee.

According to the official website of the Animafest Zagreb film festival “this is a festival by the filmmakers for the filmmakers. Creative animation, in all its different forms – from traditional drawings, to stop motion, CGI, to most experimental cross-media explorations – has been the focus of attention since the very beginning”.

The event is slated for June 7-12, 2021.
