The Fajr International Film Festival (FIFF) committee has revealed the audience voting results for the fifth day of screenings at the major cinematic event in Iran.
Eleven films from the competition section's total of 32 entries were selected as audience favorites:
'A Childless Village' by Reza Jamali, 'People's Child' by Mahmoud Karimi, 'Prophet Moses' by Ebrahim Hatamikia, 'Tears of Hour" by Mehdi Jafari, 'Hunter' by Javad Afshar, 'Esfand' by Danesh Eqbashavi, 'The Devotee' by Ali Ghafari, 'Guardian of the Field' by Mohammad Reza Kheradmandan, 'Raha' by Hesam Farahmand, 'Call Me Ziba' by Rasoul Sadrameli, and 'God of War' by Hossein Darabi.
The films were listed without ranking order, the festival committee noted.
The festival’s audience votes play a crucial role in determining the winner of the Crystal Simorgh for Best Popular Film, one of the FIFF’s awards.
The Fajr International Film Festival is underway and wraps up on February 12.
