Veteran Iranian voice actor Manouchehr Valizadeh, renowned for dubbing many international movies, has passed away.
Valizadeh was a prominent figure in Iran's dubbing industry, lending his versatile voice to numerous international stars, including Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, John Travolta, and Nicholas Cage.
He passed away on Wednesday at the age of 84 after spending several days in intensive care.
The voice actor is particularly celebrated as the Persian voice of the U.S. actor Hanks in many acclaimed films.
Valizadeh also voiced Lucky Luke, the titular main protagonist of the Lucky Luke franchise, and Michael Scofield in the television series 'Prison Break'.
He was also a familiar voice to Iranian radio listeners through his work on the program 'Friday Morning With You'.
