Iran National Orchestra welcomes spring

Iran National Orchestra conducts a concert themed on spring and the Persian New Year.

The Iran National Orchestra performed a concert titled "Welcoming Spring" under the baton of Homayoun Rahimian at Tehran's Vahdat Hall, featuring works from renowned Iranian composers.

The event was held Thursday evening as Iran National Orchestra's final performance in the Persian calendar year of 1403.  

The performance showcased a colorful spectrum of Iranian musical compositions to celebrate the approaching spring season in a few weeks.

This year, the Persian New Year is celebrated on March 21.
