iFilm to air new series ‘Detective 1’

The Iranian series ‘Detective 1’ has been set to go on iFilm English TV Channel’s schedule from Thursday.

Produced by Asghar Zaeri and directed by Mohsen Shah-Mohammadi, the series tells the story of Major Ali Amiri and Lieutenant Reza Bayat.

In the series, mysterious police cases are placed on Amiri's desk and he diligently tries to follow up on each of the cases.

The series depicts three different stories, including ‘The Companion’, ‘Setareh and I’, and ‘Confession’.

The cast list of the series includes Iraj Nozari, Parviz Fallahipour, Anahita Hemmati, Rambod Shekarabi, Sharareh Dolatabadi, Saeed Aqakhani, and Maryam Soltani.

‘Detective 1’, made in 2003, is scheduled to replace the series ‘Remembrance’, to be on iFilm’s screen every day at 19:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the new series the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00. It is comprised of 13 episodes.
