Bita wants to get started in ‘The Sound of Rain’

Bita wants to get started in the sixteenth episode of iFilm English TV Channel’s ‘The Sound of Rain’.

Bita, introduced as Baran to Taha, is going too fast. Her real mother (!) asks Bita to drop the story of her marriage and her real father (!) emphasizes that he won’t let her ruin her life.

But Bita believes her father is wrong. She has no desire to destroy her life. She just wants to get started.

Produced by Seyyed-Mohammad Hashemi-Asl and directed by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘The Sound of Rain’ hits the air daily at 20:00 GMT.

Each episode of the 40-part show is repeated the next day at 01:00, 07:00 and 12:00.

The series narrates the story of, Taha, a successful businessman and a widower living with his five year old daughter.

On a business trip to Turkey, he gets framed for smuggling drugs and sentenced to life in prison, so he entrusts everything he’s got, including his daughter, to his nephew.

After twenty years, Taha gets released and comes back home, but things aren’t exactly as he’d left them, and he soon realizes he may have put his trust in the wrong people.
