Ayeesh, Farhad (born September 18, 1952, Shemiranat)
Born Farhad Heshmati Aqdaei, Farhad Ayeesh has studied directing and photography in the UK and the US.
He directed a number of plays in English and Persian as well as acting in some of them before returning to Iran in 1997, where he continued stage directing and acting.
Ayeesh has acted in many series including 'The Story of a City' (2000), 'No Words Needed' (2001), 'Brothers-in-Law' (2004), 'Hodhod Bookstore’ (2006), Shams-ol-Emareh’ (2009), 'Let's Not Turn Around' (2009), ‘3-5-2’ (2011), 'All My Family' (2012-2013), 'The Pahlavi Hat' (2012-2013), 'The Colonel's Garden' (2013) and ‘The Recluse’ (2014).
He has also played in movies, such as 'Tehran Nights' (2000), ‘Dear! I’m In No Mood’ (2001), 'Greed' (2002), 'The Lucky Bride' (2002), 'Max' (2003), 'Chocolate' (2003), 'In Love' (2006), 'The Distinguished Suitor ' (2006), ‘Psychosis’ (2007), 'Life with Closed Eyes' (2008), 'Autobahn’ (2008), 'Parinaz' (2010), 'A Simple Romance' (2011), 'Check' (2011), 'Hush!
