Soltani, Faqiheh (born 1974, Hamadan)
Faqiheh Soltani has a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Literature from the Islamic Azad University.
She has completed an acting course supervised by Iranian actress Golab Adineh and made her film debut in 1994 with Rakhshan Bani Etemad's 'Blue Scarf'.
'The Miracle of Laughter’ (1996) earned her a Crystal Simorgh nomination for Best Actress in a Leading Role at Fajr International Film Festival. Soltani’s role in the movie also earned her a nomination for an Iran Cinema Celebration Award in the Best Actress section.
Her next movie was ‘Sunglasses’ (1999), which saw her nominated for an Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Soltani has acted in several movies, including 'Naghmeh' (2001), ‘Pink’ (2002), 'Damsel' (2002), 'The Separated' (2004) and 'It is Always Rainy Here’ (2013).
She has also appeared in series such as 'Day of Departure' (2006) and 'Tabriz in Fog' (2010).
