Hemmat, Ali-Asghar (born December 18, 1952, Shiraz) 

Ali-Asghar Hemmat is an actor as well as TV, cinema and theater makeup artist. 

He studied Theater at the Faculty of Fine Arts, the University of Tehran. 

In 2002, he managed to receive First Grade Order of Art in Acting from Iran’s Council of Artist Evaluation.

Besides acting, he has worked as a makeup artist in various movie productions.

He has appeared in several movies, including ‘Out of Range’ (1987), ‘In the Storm's Path’ (1988), ‘The Havana Brief’ (2005), ‘A Sugar Cube’ (2009) and ‘Insomnia’ (2009).

He has also taken part in various TV series such as ‘Imam Ali’ (1996), ‘The Friendship Agency’ (1998), ‘Like No One’ (2008), ‘Panacea’ (2013) and ‘Puzzle’ (2014).

He is married to actress Afsar Asadi.
