Gitijah, Nasser (born 1935, Tehran - died April 8, 2014, Tehran)
Nasser Gitijah stepped on stage for the first time in 1958. He made his movie debut in 1973.
He appeared in several series, including ‘Aunt Sara’ (1992), ‘Heroes Don't Die’ (1995-1997), ‘Tehran License Plate 11’ (1997), ‘All My Children’ (1997), ‘Tomorrow's Too Late’ (1997), ‘Born Again’ (1998), ‘The Tenth Night’ (2001), ‘Network’ (2002), ‘Aqaqiya Alley’ (2003), ‘For the Last Time’ (2005), ‘Habib's Happy Days’ (2006-2007), ‘Years of Snow and Violet’ (2007), ‘Goodbye Child’ (2012), and ‘All My Family’ (2012-2013).
He also acted in several movies such as ‘Retribution’ (1987), ‘The Courtship’ (1989), ‘An Endless Night’ (1999), ‘Dad's Guest’ (2009), ‘The Rain Drop’ (2009), and ‘The Two Brothers’ (2010).
Gitijah won a diploma of honor for Best Actor in a Leading Role from the Fajr International Film Festival for ‘I'm Sleepy’ (2011).
He passed away after a heart stroke at the age of 79.
