Arabnia, Fariborz (born April 28, 1964, Tehran)

Fariborz Arabnia is an educated and professional Iranian artist. 

He received his Mathematics Diploma in 1982 and passed a few courses in the Cinema Education Complex and the Center of Experimental Theater. 

He also graduated in Graphic Design from Tehran University of Art, the biggest higher education center of arts in Iran.

He started his career along with his academic education, but his first major role was in ‘The Feast’ in 1995. 

One of his notable performances was in ‘Soltan' in 1996 when he was selected as the Best Male Actor in a Leading Role at the 15th Fajr International Film Festival.

He spent 6 years of his career acting in an epic historical TV Series named ‘Mokhtarnameh’ (2009) that has been a hit inside Iran and in Arab countries.

Arabnia has also appeared in a number of other feature films, including ‘Takhti, the World Champion’ (1997), ‘Toutia’ (1998), ‘Hemlock’ (1998), ‘Bitter Almonds’ (1999), ‘Seven Acts’ (2000), ‘Thousands of Women Like Me’ (2000), ‘Greed’ (2002), ‘Leaden Stars’ (2002), ‘Girl in a Cage’ (2002), ‘Butterfly in the Wind’ (2003), ‘Featherless Peacocks’ (2008), ‘The Empty Chair’ (2008), ‘Hot Chocolate’ (2009), ‘Earth and Fire’ (2010), ‘Hidden’ (2010), and ‘Che’ (2012).
