Mir-Baqeri, Davoud (born 1959, Shahrud)
Davoud Mir-Baqeri graduated from Amirkabir University of Technology in Mining Engineering.
After taking a three-year theater course in “Theater-e Shahr” (City Theater), he build his stage and television career simultaneously in 1980.
He made his directorial debut with the social comedy ‘Snowman’ (1994).
Mir-Baqeri has directed and/or written movies such as ‘The Miracle of Laughter’ (1996), ‘Barani’ (1999) and ‘The Visitor of Rey’ (2000).
He has also made a number of series, including ‘The Wolves’ (1986-1987), ‘Rana’ (1988-1990), ‘Imam Ali (AS)’ (1991-1996), ‘Lost Innocence’ (2002) and ‘Mokhtarnameh’ (2004-2009).
His son, Hamed Mir-Baqeri, is an actor.
