Qaemian, Farhad (born 1965, Ardebil)
Farhad Qaemian started his cinematic activities in 1991 with short films. He entered professional acting with ‘Domrol’ (1993).
His outstanding performance in ‘Heeva’ (1998) saw him nominated for a Fajr International Film Festival's Crystal Simorgh for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role in 1999.
Qaemian was also nominated for a Fajr International Film Festival's Crystal Simorgh for Best Male Actor in a Supporting Role for ‘Reparation’ (2011).
He has appeared in movies such as ‘The Burnt Generation’ (1999), ‘Poisonous Mushroom’ (2001), ‘The Beautiful City’ (2003), ‘'The Purple' (2004), 'Life with Closed Eyes' (2008), ‘Invitation’ (2008), and 'Bodyguard' (2015).
After 2000, Qaemian became more involved in television projects and took on acting in series such as 'Vafa' (2004), 'Shokraneh' (2007), 'A Stairway to Heaven’ (2009), 'A Time to Love' (2013), 'Remembrance' (2013), and ‘Ancient Land’ (2010-2015).
