Radan, Bahram (born April 28, 1979, Tehran)

 

Bahram Radan studied Business Administration at Islamic Azad University.

 

In 1999, he took acting courses and was chosen to take part in ‘The Passion of Love’ (2000) by Nadir Moqaddas.

 

Radan was nominated for the fifth Iran Cinema Celebration Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role by performing in ‘Swan Song’ (2000).

 

He gained an award for the Best Actor in a Leading role for his performance in ‘The Killer’ (2009) at India’s Ladakh International Film Festival. 

 

He also won a Fajr International Film Festival Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor by starring in ‘Candle in the Wind’ (2003) and ‘Santouri’ (2006).

 

He has appeared in ‘Gilaneh’ (2003), ‘The Verdict’ (2005), ‘Kan'an’ (2007), ‘Maritime Silk Road’ (2010) and ‘Ceasefire’ (2014).

 

Radan is interested in singing and has also released an album.

 

In 2010, Radan was chosen to be the first Iranian ambassador against hunger for the UN World Food Program (WFP).
