Babapour, Shaahin (born June 19, 1969, Tehran)

Shaahin Babapour holds a Master’s degree in Theatre. He is also a PhD student in Art Research.

He began his artistic career in television as an assistant planner in the TV series ‘The Patriarch’ (1995).

In 2000, Babapour directed his first short movie ‘Mounting Silence’ and since then he has directed several movies such as ‘Wedding Rings’ (2009) and ‘40-Year-Old Single Woman’ (2014).

He has also acted in various movies, including ‘Count Down’ (1997), ‘Help Me’ (1998) and ‘Mani and Neda’ (2000).
