Karampour, Mehdi (born February 18, 1976, Tehran)

Mehdi Karampour who is an Iranian director and scriptwriter began his professional career by making short films.

He has written and directed ‘Who Killed Amir?’ (2005), making films like ‘The Outcasts’ (2006), ‘The Seventh Day’ (2007), ‘The Eighth Day’ (2009), ‘Night Shift’ (2009), ‘Rear Throw’ (2009) and ‘Wooden Bridge’ (2011).

He has several series directing credits under his belt, including ‘A Piece of Land’ (2012) and ‘Cloudy Years’ (2014).

Besides features and series, Karampour has written and directed documentary and advertising films.
