Farjami, Farimah (born May 1951, Tehran - died June 30, 2023, Tehran)

Farimah Farjami studied at the Tehran University Faculty of Dramatic Arts. She began her career in radio in 1976 with the play ‘Wax Figurine’. Four years later, she debuted with Gholam-Ali Erfan’s film ‘Said All Three of Them’ (1980).

She received a Fajr International Film Festival Certificate of Merit for Best Actress for ‘Lead’ (1988) and was nominated for a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for ‘Mother’ (1989).

Her performance in ‘The Last Act’ (1990) won her a Crystal Simorgh. She was also honored for her performance in ‘Narges’ (1991) at the International Fajr Film Festival.

She has also appeared in ‘Saghar’ (1997), ‘Water and Fire’ (2000), ‘The Red Line’ (2001) and ‘Poisonous Honey’ (2002).
