Taheri, Fatemeh (born 1939, Tehran – died 2012) 

The late Iranian actress Fatemeh Taheri started stage debut in 1957 and later made her film debut in ‘The Gifts’ (1987). 

During her career, she appeared in several movies including, ‘Hamoon’ (1989), ‘Narges’ (1991), ‘Joke’ (1999), ‘Bibi’s Dowry’ (1999) and ‘Mom’s Guest’ (2003).

She was also a popular face on TV, appearing in series such as ‘Primrose Flower’ (1991), ‘Khazra High School’ (1996) and several other films.

Fatemeh Taheri passed away of heart failure at her home in Tehran in 2012.
