Lotfi, Qolam-Hossein (born November 21, 1949, Qazvin)
Qolam-Hossein Lotfi earned a master’s degree in acting and directing from Tehran's University of Fine Arts. He also holds an honorary doctorate in theater.
His first cinematic appearance was in 'Morning of Cinder', directed by Taqi Mokhtar, in 1977.
In addition to acting, he has tried his hand at writing and directing as well.
He has directed movies including 'The Indians' (1978) and 'The Loser' (1995), and series such as 'Mirror' (1985).
Lotfi has acted in movies such as 'Pickpockets Don't Go to Heaven' (1991), 'The Sunny Man' (1995), 'Night of the Fox' (1996), 'Murder Online' (2005) and 'Dog Day Afternoon' (2009), and series such as 'Dirty Money' (2004), 'Relatively Bad Guys' (2013) and 'Pejman' (2013).
