The late Iranian actor Manouchehr Nozari made his dubbing debut in radio in 1954 before turning to acting in 1963 when he appeared in the film ‘Red Tulip’, directed by Mahmoud Nozari and Houshang Latifpour.
Nozari then made his directorial debut with ‘Eyvallah’ (1971). In the 1970s, Nozari went to Egypt where he produced the film ‘Hello, I am a Cat’ (1978).
Upon his return to Iran, he began directing the popular radio show, ‘Friday Mornings with You’.
The father of Iranian actor Iraj Nozari, Manouchehr appeared in many movies and series, including ‘Aqaqiya Alley’ (2003), ‘Brothers-in-Law’ (2004) and ‘How Much for You to Cry?’ (2005).
He passed away in 2005.
