Hedayati, Mohammad-Reza (born May 14, 1973, Chabahar)

Mohammad-Reza Hedayati stepped on stage for the first time while he was still a child.

At the age of 22, he moved to Tehran to pursue acting professionally.

After several stage performances, in 1999 he made his TV debut with Mehran Modiri’s series ‘Excuse Me, You Are?’.

Since then, Hedayati has mostly been known as a comedic actor for his roles in several series, including ‘Tiptoe’ (2002), ‘The Petty Rentier’ (2003), ‘Dotted Line’ (2003-2004), ‘Barareh Nights’ (2005), ‘Mozaffar’s Garden’ (2006), ‘The Man of Two Thousand Faces’ (2008), and ‘In Hashieh’ (2014-2015).

Aside from his comedy roles, he has experienced serious roles in other series, including the historical series ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ (2003-2009).

Hedayati has also acted in a few movies, such as ‘A Man Made of Glass’ (1998), ‘Report Card Day’ (2002), ‘The Wedding Dinner’ (2005), ‘Unfaithful’ (2006), ‘Checkmate’ (2008), ‘Orange Taxicab’ (2008), ‘Red Cap and Mama's Boy’ (2011), ‘It is Always Rainy Here’ (2013), and ‘Iran Burger’ (2014).

He also sings, enjoying much success with several albums and has lent his voice in the popular series ‘Red Cap’ (2009-2015).
