Golestani, Parastou (born June 1, 1970, Tehran)
Golestani has studied acting and directing at the Islamic Azad University. She also took a two-year acting course at the IRIB School of Art and Literature.
She began her career by acting on stage. In 1986, she was a member of the Shahed theater group and the institute of Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
She entered cinema with 'The Snake' (1987). Then she has continued with acting in movies such as 'Majnoon' (1990), 'Spouse' (1993), 'Speed' (1996), 'Rules of the Game' (1997), and 'Seven Stones' (1997).
Golestani's TV debut was with 'Friendship Tree' in 1987. She has also appeared in series such as 'The Patriarch' (1993-1995), 'The Spouses' (1995), 'The Young Lawyers' (1995-1996), 'Danny and Me' (1998-1999), 'Shirin’s World' (1999), 'The Man of a Thousand Faces' (2007), 'Where To in Such a Hurry?' (2009), 'Detour' (2011), 'Huge Problems 1' (2014), and 'Huge Problems 2' (2015) as well.
