Fathi, Mehdi (born December 17, 1939, Tehran - died March 20, 2004, Tehran)
Mehdi Fathi graduated from the University of Tehran with a degree in acting. He then took a cinema and theater course with Iranian director Mostafa Oskooyi.
He made his debut in Mostafa Oskooyi's 'The Vampire Woman' in 1967. He also had a leading role in the movie 'The Beautiful and the Hideous' in 1998.
Fathi acted in series such as 'Imam Ali' (1991) and movies including 'The Gifts' (1987), 'The Angelica' (1988), 'Avinar' (1991), 'The Tenant' (1992), 'The Fateful Day' (1994), 'Snowman' (1994), 'Sheikh Mofid' (1995), 'Objection' (1999), and 'Dear, I'm in No Mood' (2001).
In 2003, after a long illness, he passed away at the age of 64.
