Mehranfar, Ahmad (born May 31, 1975)
Ahmad Mehranfar has a Bachelor’s degree in Acting and a Master’s degree in Directing.
In 1999, he began his professional acting in theater and appeared on stage beside famous actors, such as Parviz Parastoui, Pantea Bahram, Amir Jafari, Mahtab Nasirpour and Habib Rezaee.
He became a household name for his role in the TV series ‘The Capital’ (2011), as he played the role of Arasto.
Mehranfar has appeared in several movies, including ‘About Elly’ (2008), ‘Nothing’ (2009), ‘Horses Are Noble Animals’ (2010), ‘A Simple Romance’ (2011), ‘Without Reason or Cause’ (2011), ‘Testimony for God’ (2012) and ‘Trapped’ (2012).
He has also taken part in the TV series ‘The Bankers’ (2003), ‘The Capital 2’ (2013), ‘The Capital 3’ (2014) and ‘The Capital 4’ (2015), and in the television film ‘Virtual Reality’ (2008).
Besides acting, he directed and wrote the play ‘Afghan Scholar’.
