Bayat, Mahboubeh (born 1949, Mashhad)

Mahboubeh Bayat earned a degree in Acting and Directing from Tehran University’s Faculty of Dramatic Arts and was a member of Culture, Arts and Theater Office in Mashhad and later in the Tehran Theater office.

She made her cinematic debut in 1974 with ‘The Deer’ directed by Masoud Kimiaei.

She has appeared in movies such as ‘Throughout the Night’ (1977), ‘All My Children’ (1984), ‘True Pilgrim’ (1985), ‘The Man Who Became a Mouse’ (1985), ‘The Ruin’ (1985), ‘Fire in Winter’ (1985), ‘Mirage’ (1986), ‘Mother’ (1989), ‘The Passengers’ (1991), ‘Plaything’ (1998), ‘Ceasefire’ (2005), ‘Melody’ (2007), and ‘Moon-Like’ (2007).

She has also acted in series such as ‘Truth Revealed’ (1990), ‘Fear’s Reward’ (1992), ‘Enemy of People’ (1994), ‘Let the Sun Rise’ (1998-1999), and ‘Neverending Road’ (2007).
