Kaviani, Ferdows (born October 1951, Kerman - died October 1, 2023, Tehran)

Ferdows Kaviani was a veteran Iranian actor who made his film debut in 1970. He studied Theater Directing at Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University and has directed a few shorts. 

Kaviani appeared in many series, including ‘Boro Bia Neighborhood’ (1982), ‘Hygiene Neighborhood’ (1984), ‘The Spouses’ (1994), ‘Friendship Agency’ (1999), ‘Our School’ (2009), and ‘Behind tall Mountains’ (2012).

He also acted in films such as ‘In the Storm’s Path’ (1988), ‘Hamoun’ (1989), ‘All My Daughters’ (1993), ‘Killing Mad Dogs’ (2000), ‘A Non-profit Police Station’ (2008), and ‘The Orange Suit’ (2011).
