Seddiqi, Faramarz (born 1949, Saqqez)

Faramarz Seddiqi studied Theatre at the University of Tehran and made his debut in 1972 with the movie ‘Spring’.

He has performed in a number of movies, including  ‘The Last Flight’ (1989), ‘The Devoted’ (1991), ‘The Sheriff’ (1991), ‘The Love Squadron’ (1996), ‘Love Isn't Enough’ (1998) and ‘Maral’ (2000).

For his performance in ‘The Sheriff’ (1991), he received the Best Actor Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor at the 10th Fajr International Film Festival.

Alongside his acting career, Seddiqi has directed the movie ‘Bait’ in 1992.
