Yazdanian, Parvindokht (born 1927, Najafabad-died March 25, 2012, Najafabad)

Parvindokht Yazdanian, the mother of director Kiyoomars Pour-Ahmad, was an adorable Iranian actress.

The actress made her debut with the series ‘The Stories of Majid’ (1991) directed by her son.

Her outstanding performance in ‘The Morning After’ (1992) won her a Special Jury Prize for Best Actress in a Supporting Role from the 11th Fajr International Film Festival.

Yazdanian has appeared in series such as ‘School for Grannies’ (1996) and ‘Clue’ (1996).

She has also acted in some movies, including ‘Shame’ (1991), ‘Bibi's Dowry’ (1994), ‘Strange Sisters’ (1995) and ‘Winter Solstice’ (2000).

Yazdanian passed away at the age of 89.
