Malek-Mohammadi, Fattaneh (born March 1989, Tehran)

This talented actress and musician, plays the violin professionally. Famous female director Tahmineh Milani discovered her talent.

Milani chose her for a role in ‘Superstar’ (2008) from among hundreds of aspiring actresses auditioning for the part.

In a press conference before the release of the movie, Milani praised Fattaneh, saying she was the perfect person for the role and that even if the young actress could not play the violin she would have still been the first pick for the part.

Fattaneh proved Milani right, and she was praised by both the public and critics for her smooth and outstanding performance which won her a Diploma of Honor at the 27th Fajr International Film Festival.

Malek Mohammadi later appeared in ‘Hidden’ and collaborated with Milani once again in the movie ‘One of Us Two’.
