Moayyerian, Arash (born November 16, 1971, Tehran)
Arash Moayyerian has an associate degree in Computer Programming, a BA in directing from the Faculty of Fine Arts and an MA in Dramatic Literature from Tehran University.
He began his cinematic activities as an assistant director in 1991.
Moayyerian has directed a number of movies, including ‘Take Off’ (2002), ‘Coma’ (2003), ‘Charlatan’ (2004), ‘Left-Handed’ (2005), ‘He Who Goes to Sea’ (2006), ‘Milk and Honey’ (2009), ‘The Shy Suitor’ (2010), and ‘Hectic Times’ (2011).
He has also made the series ‘Light and Shadow’ (2011) and ‘Jalaleddin’ (2014).
Aside from directing, he writes screenplays and edits films.
