Qadakchian, Kamran (born January 4, 1948, Tehran)

The son of veteran actor Ahmad Qadakchian, this well-known Iranian director, screenwriter and film editor began his career as an assistant director in 1969. He directed his first movie in 1972.

He has directed several movies, including ‘Tornado’ (1985), ‘Song of Tehran’ (1991), ‘Madly’ (1994), ‘The Hidden Paradise’ (1994), ‘Souvenir from Abroad’ (2006), ‘White Rose’ (2009), and ‘The Backstreets of Shemroon’ (2012).

In addition to editing a large number of movies, Qadakchian has some experiences in writing radio plays and film scripts as well as designing scene and making film teasers.
