Varzi, Mohammad-Reza (born June 22, 1973, Tehran)

Mohammad-Reza Varzi is an Iranian director who studied History at Islamic Azad University and later stepped into the world of filmmaking.

He has made a number of movies, including ‘Abraham, Friend of Allah’ (2005) and ‘The Story of Mozaffar’ (2007).

Varzi has also directed series such as ‘Godfather’ (2005), ‘House of Outsiders’ (2008), ‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’ (2009), ‘Tabriz in Fog’ (2010), ‘The Mystery of the Shah’ (2015).

He has some experience as producer, script writer, as well as scene and cloth designer.
