Solhmirzaee, Qodratollah (born 1959, Tuyserkan)
Qodratollah Solhmirzaee began his artistic career with directing the play ‘I Wanna Go To War’ in 1980.
Before filmmaking, he wrote novels for children and teenagers.
Solhmirzaee embarked on his directing career with short movies in 1982 then made his directorial debut with the feature film ‘Golden Hawk’ (1993).
He has directed various TV series, including ‘The Window’ (2011) and ‘A Girl Named Ahoo’ (2011).
Solhmirzaee has also directed and written several movies such as ‘Sponsor’ (1994), ‘Escape from Death’ (1995), ‘Attack’ (1996), ‘I Am Alone Without You’ (2001), ‘A Flower for the Bride’ (2004), ‘The Main Target’ (2006), ‘A Pocket Full of Money’ (2009) and ‘Permission’ (2014).
He has also experienced movie production as well as scenic and costume design.
