Tavakkoli, Bahram (born November 25, 1977, Tehran)

Bahram Tavakkoli has an M.A in Script Writing from Tarbiat Modarres University. 

He began his career as a director of short films. He has written and directed ‘Barefoot in Heaven’ (2005), ‘Here, without Me’ (2010) and ‘I am Diego Maradona’ (2014).

He has also tried his hand at writing, poster designing and editing. He has won the best first movie from the Fajr International Film Festival and was also nominated for the best directing at the Fajr International Film Festival and Cinema House Celebration for ‘Barefoot in Heaven’.
