Reza Karimi began his cinematic activity as an assistant director in 1986.

He has directed and wrote screenplays for several movies, including ‘Love + 2’ (1998), ‘Thousands of Women Like Me’ (2000), ‘Fever’ (2003) and ‘The Killer’ (2009).

Karimi has also directed the movie ‘Reflection’ (2007) and the TV series ‘The Long Path’ (2011).

Besides directing and screenwriting, he has worked as an assistant director and programmer.
