A young woman returns home to her supportive uncle, Amir, and her fiancé, Mahmoud, after studying abroad. On the same day, Mahmoud, who is a police detective, is called to investigate the suspicious murder of one of Amir’s business associates. The investigation strains the relations between Mahmoud and his family as he tries to keep his professional and personal lives separate in order to find the murderer.
