‘Light Refreshments’ is a film about how a young couple want to hold their wedding ceremony in a simple, inexpensive and beautiful way; at least Firoozeh – the bride to be – does. The film revolves around her attempts to convince Omid, her groom-to-be that holding a simple ceremony is the right thing to do. Omid is caught up in the peer pressure around him but deep down he admires Firoozeh's courage.
