Iraqi cinematographer Ammar Jamar has talked to ifilm about 36th Fajr International Film Festival.
36th Fajr International Film Festival's Eastern Vista Jury member Ammar Jamar said, 'Most of the movies in this festival enjoy an international level quality, especially since I think this is the only festival in the region that has the capacity for these movies.'
He added, 'There is a close competition and it makes judgment even harder; because the movies are made professionally. I am one of the international judges of the movies in Eastern Vista.'
He mentioned, 'We have received many good movies in the festival. I have to congratulate the committee that selects the movies, because they have selected good movies.'
At the end, he congratulated the Iranian cinema saying, 'The Iranian cinema has taken huge steps in the region. It used to be a regional cinema, but it has turned into an international cinema. We are proud of this cinema, as much as the Iranians feel proud. The Iranian cinema has made progress and has made news all over the world. It has shone in many international festivals that many filmmakers dream about. I congratulate the Iranian cinema.'
