Iran short 'Retouch' on a winning streak

Iranian short film 'Retouch' wins some other international awards in Germany, Hungary and Italy.

Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, the short film has won Best Short Film award at the 2018 MediaWave Film and Music Festival in Hungary.

The film has grabbed Best Fiction Award at the 2018 cellu l’art Film Festival.

Mazaheri received The Critic Award of the 2018 Ennesimo Film Festival.

The short film is about a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

Some of the cast members of the award winning film are Sonia Sanjari, Mohammad-Hossein Ziksari, Hana Fouladi-Fard, Azadeh Abadpour, Siamak Farsi, Negin Ahmadi and Shirin Harati.

The flick has so far won several international awards including the Best Fiction Short Film award at the 13th edition of the Traverse City Film Festival (TCFF) in the US.
