‘Bridge of Sleep’ goes for home release

Iranian feature film ‘Bridge of Sleep’ has been recently offered for domestic home release, as well as online shopping.

Iranian director Oktay Baraheni’s debut film has been in Iranian cinema theaters for a while since January 10, 2018.

One of the top-list players of the Iranian cinema at the screening period, the film has also gone on screen at a venue in the Canadian cities of Vancouver and Toronto.

The intense social drama is a re-imagination of Russian author Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s ‘Crime and Punishment’.

‘Bridge of Sleep’ is about Shahab, who is about to get married. He enters a business deal along with his friend in order to help his financial situation. However, he loses all his money and finds himself in financial hardship.

The film received rave reviews after being featured at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in Iran.
