Iran movie 'Mothering' hits the home market

Directed by Roqiyeh Tavakkoli, 'Mothering' is set to go on home release soon.

The flick narrates the story of two sisters who live together in the Iranian city of Yazd. One of the two has abandoned her love while the other has had her heart broken by her lover.

The two stand against all the life difficulties and move on up until an unexpected event happens. 

Notable among the cast are Houman Seyyedi, Nazanin Bayati, Hanieh Tavassoli and Melisa Zakeri.

The film was received well and found a place among the 5 high grossing titles of Iranian cinema only one week through its premiere.

'Mothering' sold about 1,117,040,000 Rials during the same week.

'Mothering' was screened at the 35th Fajr Film Festival in Iranian capital city of Tehran.
