Iran animation 'Balance' to vie at Russia festival

Iranian animation 'Balance' has been scheduled to be screened at the 9th edition of the Kinolikbez International Film Festival in Russia.

Produced and directed by Barzan Rostami, the flick is to represent Iran at the Russian film event.

'Balance' is an animated story about the soldiers who sacrifice  their lives so that the people of the city may live in peace.

The short animation has so far succeeded to take part at the Redline International Film Festival in Canada and the Adrian International Film Festival in the US. 

The Kinolikbez International Film Festival is an independent film event which corresponds to the principle of originality of form and content, oriented to the search for new avant-garde approaches in the cinema, acute and urgent topics of concern to society.

The latest edition of the festival is slated for June 28-July 1, 2018, in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
