Iranian animation ‘Icky’ wins an award at the Int'l Film Festival for Children and Youth - KINOLUB in Poland.

Iranian animation ‘Icky’ has won an award at the International Film Festival for Children and Youth - KINOLUB in Poland.

‘Icky’ received the honorable mention “for an original approach to the subject of diversity, captured in an extraordinary metaphor about one’s place in society,” the Polish jury said.

The 6-minute animation ‘Icky’ is directed by Parastoo Cardgar.

Cardgar’s animation tells the story of a child in a world where people have a solved Rubik’s cube as their heads, but the child’s head is different from everyone else. S/He has an unsolved Rubik's cube on the neck.
